The Press of Atlantic City reported today that according to Price and Sales figures released by the National Association of Realtors that the Atlantic City Area is in a "Sweet Spot" of the nation's real estate market.

Median prices increased in Atlantic County by 4.8 percent, better than the overall 3.2 percent increase in the northeast region. Meanwhile, home prices dropped 7.7 percent nationwide for the period.

The Atlantic City metro area saw it's median home price increase to $277,400 from $264,400.
